Popsockets new recycling programme for US market on hold.

US mobile accessories brand Popsockets recently launched a fantastic initiative with Terracycle to recycle their products and packaging, and benefit local charities.


A few months ago, Popsockets launched a great initiative in the US to encourage recycling of its products and packaging through the Terracycle platform. Organisations that participate in the programme can earn points (based on weight or returned items) and make a donation to a chosen charity or school. In just a few months, 1000 participating locations were up and running across the US.


Understandably, the Popsockets programme is on hold until restrictions are lifted but it's still worth celebrating this great initiative and let's hope to see it up and running soon, and spreading to more parts of the world.


TerraCycle offers free recycling programmes funded by brands, manufacturers, and retailers around the world to help businesses collect and recycle hard-to-recycle waste materials.
