Urbanista to launch solar powered headphones



Swedish headphone brand Urbanista has announced the imminent launch of a self charging wireless headphones, the Urbanista Los Angeles. Powered by solar cell technology called Powerfoyle™, the Los Angeles edition headphones can potentially offer infinite playtime. The solar tech, developed by Exeger, can enhance any consumer electronic product it’s integrated into with a much extended battery life.


While the solar element is the headline grabber, the Los Angeles headphones also comes with a number of other features including:


  • 50h battery reserve

  • Hybrid active noise cancelling

  • Ambient sound mode

  • On-ear detection

  • USB type-C charging

  • Bluetooth 5.0

  • Siri and Google Assistant

  • Compatible with iOS, Android and Windows
